She finds that women are incredibly grateful and relieved when their provider – PCP, cardiologist, oncologist or other specialists – addresses sexual concerns and treatment consequences.
Alyssa Dweck
MS MD FACOG
Alyssa is a practicing gynecologist in Westchester County, New York, and a leader in the transformation of obstetrics and gynecology. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Medical College and a consultant at Massachusetts General Hospital (Vincent’s Memorial Ob/Gyn Service). Alyssa feels a sea of change is taking place in the medical profession: Many female doctors, who once practiced gynecology and obstetrics, are dropping the obstetrical part of their practices to concentrate on the feminine sexual health of their patients. Alyssa is the co-author of V is for Vagina, The Complete A to Z for your V, and co-author of The Sexual Spark with Dr. Michael Krychman.
